Tata Tiago great car to drive,value for money....

Tata Tiago has stormed the hatchback market in India since its launch. I test drive the car last week and I am quite satisfied with its performance. The entry level hatch is decent in terms of comfort and looks and as far as the price point is concerned, despite being a hatchback is quite spacious and we three adults were able to fit in quite comfortably in the backseat. Knee space was also pretty decent and not a major hindrance which is quite common in the smaller cars. This is the reason for its car of the year award. The Tiago is Tata's latest entry into the compact car segment. The new phase of Tata Motors began with the launch of the Zest where the Indian manufacturer has attempted to revamp the Tata image as a more modern and vibrant car maker. The recently launched Tiago hatchback is a game changer for Tata Motors which had been struggling with sales for a while. To further strengthen its footing in the segment, the company's domestic sales of commercial and passenger vehicles for October 2016 were at 46,480 units, a growth of 19 per cent over October 2015. The passenger car sales, in particular, continued its growth momentum thanks to strong demand for the Tiago which is being hailed as Tata's comeback model. The Tiago, both with its design and pricing, managed to get the sales charts moving, and now has accomplished a milestone of 50,000 bookings. The waiting period on some of the variants of the Tiago has gone up to four months. Tiago offers the driver two drive modes choices, City and Eco. It has a choice of two engine options, a Revotron 1.2-litre petrol engine putting out 84bhp and 114Nm or a turbocharged diesel Revotorq 1.05-litre engine churning out 69bhp and 140Nm of torque. Both the engines are mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Tata is working on bringing an AMT variant for Tiago as well. The Indian manufacturer has managed to price the Tiago very strategically compared to its rivals, with petrol variant ranging between Rs 3.43 lakh and Rs 5.16 lakh and the diesel at very competitive Rs 4.22 lakhs and Rs 6.0 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai), this pricing is almost Rs 50,000-60,000 less compared to its rivals Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Hyundai i10 Grand. Nice Car.. Good value for Money.. But waiting period kills the Patience. I am planning to purchase the Tiago xt and i have test ride it looks very good inside space and dicky is very spaceble and price range is ok, Tata Tiago is the right car for you. It offers you decent specs, stylish look and segment-best interiors, and top of it, an excellent mileage of 22kmpl, which every petrol conscious buyer would love to go for. It is a good option if you would want to stand out and try something new apart from the popular Altos and Eons. If you are a first-time buyer and short on budget, Tata Tiago is the right car for you.
