This is the car which just made me fell in love with it at first look. Perfectly clean and contemporary design. Attractive headlamp, honeycomb smile, sharp innings on sides and beautiful rear portion, just fantastic! Interiors are in no way less to exteriors, aesthetically appealing and full of richness and comfort. Seats are soft and comfortable but don't know how they perform on a long drive. Space is slightly less than Grand i10 but more than Celerio or another similar car its segment. Boot space of 242 litres, which is good with neatly packed stepny and tool box. Light and hooks are there which are extremely needed. The engine is a little bit noisy but perfectly fine in the cabin with windows closed. I do felt the vibration of gear knob at neutral and at particular position especially when I put my hand over it. On driving mode, I didn't notice any problem of vibrations. Interestingly on frequent use of gear knob, back and forth, while parking, I do feel the burning of clutch odour sometimes, but once I became comfortable in driving that problem was solved. Some other minor experience may be mentioned here. After few heavy rainy days, I notice rusting spot on silencer outlet and do notice some friction noise of metallic parts somewhere from underneath on moving of steering as if lubricant is needed. Ride quality and handling are very nice. Steering is butter smooth, best in class. All my friends having Swift DZire, Amaze, Wagon R or Figo were very impressed. Braking system works very well. The car is heavy and tough with good suspension and crosses the pots very comfortably. Never miss mentioning excellent audio quality and advanced features of Herman infotainment, just fantastic and incomparable. Added to it are parking sensors, auto door lock, remote trunk and fuel lid opener, central locking, seat belt reminder and smart remote key. Front console is beautifully designed with all the advance features. It looks very attractive. If you ask me to compare, I will compare Tiago only with Grand i10. Others like WagonR, Celerio, Kwid etc are far behind.It is a small car with features and driving experience of a compact sedan. Since I am a new driver, when I drove it in 1st and 2nd gear or in heavy traffic with frequent jam, I got 9-10 kmpl mileage otherwise 11-16.5 kmpl at max 40 kmph speed, depending on traffic. Overall superb in this price range and great value for money car.
