A Perfect SUV for Indian Roads
We bought Mahindra Bolero after considering many factors that any Indian would do. This begins with fuel efficiency, budget, number of passengers, look and feel, terrain where we are going to use. After two years of use I am very happy to write a postive review about the machine. As a cliche approach I am also taking you to pros and cons and you can check for any novel point among them.Pros:Powerful Engine: that would take you to any heights with any 'payload'. You might doubt I am going crazy or making fictious points in my explanation of power of this vehicle. Because I used to say to my friends that you keep this vehicle upright below a wall it will move on to top smoothly.Fuel efficiency: 12Km/litre is the average mileage we have observed and it is pretty high in this segment if you already know many cars are only offering this mileageOverall Built Quality : is also commentable as mahindra offers a strong chasis and body as such. We had a case where a sedan was hit on considerable speed while taking reverse. We survived even without a scratch while the sedan bumper got seriously affected.Overall this is one best vehicle to have considering all above characteristics as this vehicle performs well in bad roads, hilly terrains and also in highways. Comfort level also have increased with increased utilitiesCons:Poor braking and vehicle control which gives a sense of 'not feeling safe to accelerate much'.Not a smooth steering wheel : which gives a heavy feeling in controlling vehicle. No Rear AC vents : that make back side with lesser coolingUncomfortable Bench seat pattern : that makes travel for ling distance tough.Reduced turning radius : which we feel very less than its competitorsGaps between Bumpers and chasis which makes vehicle prone to accidents.

- Super and Awesome;I have Mahindra Bolero and It has been good family off-road vehicle for me, also helping me in a support role for agricultural ops, crossing 3-4 feet deep water of mighty rivers of Punjab like Beas and Ravi. Has never let me down anywhere, my children during their outings treat as a moving room and keep moving to and fro enjoying sitting at all seats. And the best thing this vehicle has done to me is that this vehicle helped me managing my young children so well, my young son slept in the middle seat when I went to drop my daughter to school. the comfort it gave to my young kids has left an indelible mark in my heart.Read More7
- The Beast;Mahindra Bolero has a well-built quality and stronger than all other cars in the segment. It has excellent engine performance. Off-roading is also nice. Even though its an off-road SUV doesn't have 4x4 in power + variant. That's the only drawback. Other than that its an tough and powerful SUV in the segment.Read More8 2

- Good Car;In 2014 when I bought Mahindra Bolero. I felt very happy, that I have brought a very sporty car, but now I am feeling very uncomfortable and now I want to sell it. It gives the mileage of only 3in city. And the comfort is not good. The pickup Is very slow. But it is very good at off-roading.Read More2 1
- Strongly Constructed CarThe fuel efficiency is as good as any other vehicle in the SUV/MUV bracket. Moreover, this vehicle is shorter in length and thinner in width than almost all other competitors - requiring less space in traffic and while parking. Even the ground clearance is on the higher side allowing one to confidently negotiate those potholes found on almost every road. It is important to view this vehicle for what it is and what it can do rather than descend to unfair comparisons. Consider these additional favorable attributes: 1. Cheap repair and spare parts costs. 2. Panel type construction allows ready replacement of large body sections for minimum expense. 3. Metal re-inforced fender in the forward and behind are together with the aluminum running boards all along the sides reduces the chance of damage to the car body and affords all-round protection to the inmates.Read More3
