A very good car with little flows

A very good car with little flows

I am currently having a Honda city 2004 GXI variant(the dolphin model) and am very pleased to write down my review. I've bought this car from a second owner around a half a year ago and got it for 1.34 lakhs. I was pretty neo to the cars as I'd just learnt how to drive one few days ago. And without counseling anyone, I bought it just to regret the decision later. I've already spent almost half the price on things sofar, so this is to say "alert" new sec-hand car buyers. The car's got a 1.5 litre engine with 5 speed MT and is having a hybrid configuration(this is one of the reasons for buying it). It runs smooth and almost silent(like I mistakenly tried so many times to ignite an already running engine). Has not that much torque to use it as a street race car but will easily get over a hill of 45% gradient with at it's almost fully loaded(not many can do that and I mean it as I've climbed so many hills in the past 4 months). Has front ventilated discs and rear drums to which I always hoped if it would have come with an abs but I'm satisfied it doesn't get break-locked easily and we can trust her at the speed of 120 as well. But It's just a soft roader and getting it into dirt can wear it's sockups and having FWL can end you up stuck in rainy seasons. The sedan car got many features like electric ORVMs, adjustable seats, 4 power windows, remote control, at that time and the chilling AC which cools down the car in peak hot hours too, diccky can hold almost a lot of luggage to go over 10 days. Some of the cons of this car, 1st it's 12 years old so each n every part is now having a wear or tear, first it's 1.5 lakhs Kms milage and still the engine running smooth, hats-off, I've to change the clutch-set as to climb so many hills, the front brake-calipers, the front lower-arms. So I've tried to make it a little sturdy and it became so. But still frightens me to drop it to the garage and don't even try to bring it to any auth-dealers as it can seriously harm your wallet. 2nd, At the time of buying I thought I would be going to drive a race car but it disappoints me here as it's only having 120 max torque and ~100 BHP so acceleration and top speeds are not to count(yeah you can say I'm just 6 months old driver and having these dreams) but I've driven so many race cars in pc games;). 3rd and the most powerful one is it doesn't have any safety features like front airbags, ABS, rear disc brakes, and the car gets a little shaky at above levels of 120Kms/Hour(which is a red alert for me), seat belts do help but don't promise safety. At the conclusion, The car is great even today but lake of safety features like ABS, airbags, and so many others concern more to a driver/owner with a family, though current one comes with many features and safety but I would still advise one to go with a greater one like TATA Hexa. Thanks, Ali
