The only poor option in petrol Family car besides Ertiga

for i-VTEC V CVT

I had an Innova and had to sell it owing to NGT. Then i booked a Hexa, but changed the decision upon learning that the Diesel engines are going to be an impasse after 2022! Since I wanted to invest in a petrol SUV only, I had less choices. I just could not digest owning an Ertiga, having enjoyed Innova! So, I happened to visit Axon Honda, and test drove the BRV and booked the automatic top variant, along with 72000 worth of accessories to make it fully loaded. Some technical issues in finance made me wait for a month, by which period I had lots of time to mull upon ,y decision. Anyone who learnt about my decision got surprised as you rarely get to see a BRV on the roads! That, and other things (like lack of shoulder space) made me rethink, and I cancelled the booking finally. Now, I am left with a sedan only.
Having gone through the user feedbacks on Innova, I am skeptical about buying it, even in petrol engine. Guess the Indian market is totally bereft of a good petrol family car as of now! I am waiting for the new Ertiga, as I have learnt that it is 60% new, and is 100mm lengthier than the present model. To quote my study on the BRV, it seems a great car on the papers. It has a very good ground clearance of 210mm! the engine is the same as that of the trusted Honda City, my current car. as for lack of infotainment system, it can be easily installed for 22000(Honda model, with rear view cam, and without navigation). It is not a bad car if you are planning to invest in it. I had chosen the BRV CVT, with all accessories that made it top notch. The final price came to 14.50 approx.
