a very very bad choice
We bought a Fiat linea emotion pack diesel in 2011.we were dismayed to find dat when we went to take our new car there were multiple dents like something had fallen on the car, scratches all over the car, like it was used.we were forced to buy the the car saying we had booked for it.they corrected d dents n painted the car n gave it to us.we found dat the dis diesel car gave us only 10 km/hr after spending 10lakhs for it.car also had squeaky noises while driving, side-rolling to left which never got corrected.repairs followed car brokedown one midnight service people said some problem with alternater switch. we changed dat for 17,000Rps.still it is happening every morning car battery wont start.it was followed by complaints of radiator cooling fan, problem with ac.not to mention the poor suspension of the car every hole in the road is felt.some vibrations are felt on the steering as as well, gear got tightened v had to change it(gear assembly. service people are saying engine has gone all rusty n corroded dat dey cant remove its nuts n bolts.while writing this also car is with service people dey are sayi we have to change battery.since one hslf years have passed there is no warranty fo it.we are totally dismayed.we feel Fiat company shouldt sell their poor quality cars n stop cheating us.

I don't think u r giving right opnion if it was dent all over then y u accepted delivery no delear can force u even u tell them i will not buy if car is driven 1 km also no meter fixing.
In the first place you shouldn't accept a car with Dent and Damage. There is no way a dealer can force you to take a damanged car. You are paying your hard earned money. Taking the Delivery of it was your first mistake. This look an exceptional case, as I have seen a lot of fiat diesel cars which is pretty good even after 60K. I myself drive a fiat punto 2010 model, which is 60000k and has no issues. The suspension is weak, but thats due to my cornering in higways and turns. Timing belt need to be changed if its worn out (optional for 76PS and Mandatory for 90PS cars after 60000KM). Fiat is a great vechile. Also the service has changed a lot. I have done 4 services and haven't faced a single issue till date with service. They have improved a lot.
I faced the same electrical problem with my Aug 2010 petrol -Linea- & repeatedly I have taken the help of road side assistance team. Initially the one & only Fiat SS at Calcutta failed to diagnose the prob.but recently(for the 3rd time) when I deposited the car at the SS ,they somehow detected that the fault was lying with the FUSEBOX which was ?cleaned. 7days are over after the repair & till now it has not created any further problem. Now I have nothing but to wait & watch for another couple of months.
