Chevrolet beat paint quality and rust and service
I have been using Chevrolet Beat top end petrol Lt model silver color for the last two years. I have a concern in two areas. 1) high maintenance cost 2) Poor paint quality. The paint quality of Beat is so poor, all my doors started rusting within a year. In fact, in some places, the paint is peeling off and showing pit marks on the body which looks so ugly. The design of the rubber beading is also poor that it holds the water after a car wash or rain. This rust issue and paint peel off issue have been informed to the dealer several times but no replacement of doors till now. I drove this car hardly 14000 kilometers in two years and my maintenance cost so far is around rs. 10000 for AC coolant refill, air filter change, oil filter change, change of engine oil, engine flushing, engine tuning and labor cost. All these maintenance decisions are taken by dealer himself without customer consent since he felt all these needs to be done after 14000 kilometers for the car to work properly. I just received the car and the expensive bill. Also, the dealer won't provide any pickup/drop facility of your car which is a minimum standard of service with Maruti, Hyundai etc. so customers have to drop the car and catch a bus to go to your office and go back their office to pick back your car which is horrible experience.
