Look and Style Excellent Comfort Average (Rear seat space is an issue with a tall driver) Pickup Below average - even swift petrol is better Mileage Never had an issue was always 11 in city... Best Features Interior trim levels... Needs to improve Engine, Gearbox and Steering response, Car scraps speedbreakers when loaded with even 2 people with speeds at 10-20 KMPH. Overall Experience - Well i bought this car in 2009 the 1.4 LT and was impressed with the interior looks of the car and the test drive experience was OK - you cannot gauge too much.. (Owning a personal car for 12 years - 10 till now and driven more than 4,00,000 KMS across India and foreign locations). However, after purchasing the car and driving next day to work i realized that it was a mistake as the gearbox was notchy, poor engine response, car tends to kiss every speedbreaker in town no matter what is the speed even at 5 KMPH. I have owned many cars before this including the Ikon 1.6, Lancer, Swift, Zen and currently a Camry 2.4 V i feel that this car is very poor on driving... Luckily i moved out of India and was more than thrilled to get a chance to sell the crap.... As anticipated no takers pathetic resale value... Got 4.8 lacs for a car 11 months old with a mileage of 10K with 3 years of free service package ... So guys please make sure that you do not invest in this car if you want a responsive engine with precise handling and also if you change cars often. I feel in India there are a lot better options.... No offences to all Aveo owners as i have also been one and it is a function of individual likings and preferences. But i had a torrid time owning this car and wasted a lot of money therefore this review....
