XC60 2012-2025 D4 KINETIC Review
One of the most popular luxury car manufacturer from Sweden, Volvo has rolled out the facelifted version of its premium crossover model Volvo XC60 in Indian automobile markets. This facelifted version of XC60 has been made available in overall three trim levels out of which, the Volvo XC60 D4 Kinetic is the entry level variant available in its model portfolio. This facelifted front fascia of this variant comes with striking new appearance along with an extraordinary set of new features inside, which is making the interiors lavish, while enhancing the level of safety as well. The company has designed a very innovative safety aspect in the form of laser assisted automatic braking system that will take care of the braking mechanism in the city traffic conditions. Apart from this, the facelifted Volvo XC60 D4 Kinetic trim has been blessed with features such as a digital instrument cluster with active TFT crystal display with three graphic themes including Eco, Elegance, and Performance. Also this crossover has been bestowed with a three spoke steering wheel accompanied with paddle shifters, LED daytime running lights and dual exhaust tail pipes. This particular crossover has received some cosmetic updates in terms of exteriors, especially on its front facade. This make it look refreshing and adorable like no other vehicle.
Exteriors :
The exterior design of the new Volvo XC60 D4 Kinetic trim is quite trendy and eye-catching. This facelifted version looks completely refreshing with slight modifications made to the front facade. The company has refurbished the front radiator grille and increased its overall size that will contribute for better air intake. The design of the headlight cluster has also been revamped to make it look sleek and expressive that refreshes the front facade. The front bumper has been painted in body color and it has been blessed with an air dam and with a sporty design that adds to the elegance of this front profile. Furthermore, this crossover gets the LED daytime running lights that enhances the visibility ahead. The side profile of this particular crossover has been bestowed with body colored ORVMs and door handles, while the wheel arches have been beautifully fitted with stylish alloy wheels. There is an expressive line that passes from the front to the rear end through the doors that makes the side profile look extremely stylish. Coming to the rear profile, this particular crossover has been blessed with an extremely stylish rear profile where the windscreen, taillight cluster and the boot lid dominates the entire profile. The boot lid is fitted with a thick chrome strip and company badging that are garnished in chrome.
Interiors :
The interior cabin section of this particular trim is very plush and luxurious like no other vehicle in its class. The space inside the cabin is incredible, thanks to the larger wheelbase that contributed for the enhancement of interior space. Inside the cabin you will notice the three spoke steering wheel, which now comes accompanied by paddle shifters. The seats are very wide and luxurious and they have been covered with premium leather upholstery. Apart from these, the digital instrument cluster has been incorporated inside with a brilliant TFT crystal display that comes with ECO, Elegance and Performance graphic themes. Powering this particular Volvo XC60 D4 Kinetic trim is the performance packed 2.0-litre, 5-cylinder based turbo diesel engine that has the ability to produce a displacement capacity of about 1984cc . This diesel motor has the ability to churn out a peak power of about 163bhp at 3500rpm, while generating a maximum torque of about 400Nm in between 1500 rpm to 2750rpm, which is quite impressive.
