Hyundai India is here with its fifth generation Hyundai Elantra. The new Hyundai Elantra has so many things that are way better and alluring as compared to the older version. There are a lot of improvements that has been done in the new generation Elantra. The sedan has been launched in both diesel as well as petrol variants. The Hyundai Neo Fluidic Elantra CRDi base is the base diesel variant of the freshly launched Elantra. The car has been blessed with a same 1.6Litre of CRDI diesel motor that churns out peak power of 126BHP along with 260Nm. the six speed manual transmission coupled with the engine assist the car in delivering a superb performance on road along with a good mileage figure of 22km per litre. The fluidic exteriors of the car steal the entire show. Hyundai opted for the same fluidic design philosophy with Hyundai Verna and it was successful. The same hopes are from 2012 Hyundai Elantra as well. The smooth contours with elegant design have made Hyundai Neo Fluidic Elantra CRDi base quite attractive. The interiors of the car are no less and are loaded with numerous premium and comfort features. the safety features of the sedan are also impressive as it comes with airbags, anti lock braking system, electronic brake force distribution system, alloy wheels , good suspension system and remarkable braking system.

Exteriors

Hyundai India has left no room for errors in terms of design strategy for fifth generation Hyundai Elantra. The 2012 Hyundai Neo Fluidic Elantra CRDi base is blessed with fluidic design that takes away the cake. The narrowed down nose along with edgy and sharp curves makes the body more trendy and stylish. The headlamps have been stretched out a bit and the grille has been made more attractive and neat. The rain sensing wipers on the windscreen are effective. The side profile of the Hyundai Neo Fluidic Elantra CRDi base is charming that is accompanied by body colored door handles, body colored ORVMs incorporated with turn indicators. The sunroof is very elegant, while the rear end of the car has chic and curved tail lights. The fog lamps are present on the front and rear both. On the whole the exteriors of the 2012 Hyundai Neo Fluidic Elantra CRDi base are close to perfect .

The engine department of the new Hyundai Neo Fluidic Elantra CRDi base is close to perfect. The car is powered by 1.6 litre of CRDi diesel engine that is capable of churning out peak power of 126BHP at the rate 4000rpm along with 260Nm of maximum torque at the rate of 1900-2750rpm. The engine has been mated with six speed manual transmission that helps the car to deliver a great mileage of 22km per litre . The acceleration and pick up of the sedan is superb as well.
