Fiesta 2011-2013 AT Review
Ford Fiesta is a classy sedan model from the fleet of the American auto giant. This sedan comes in three diesel and four petrol variants among which, Ford Fiesta AT Style is the mid range variant. This trim is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which is coupled with a 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox. It can produce 107.5bhp that results in a peak torque of about 140Nm at just 4500rpm. The company is offering this sedan with several advanced features like a MP3/CD player including AUX-In connectivity, six speakers and steering mounted audio controls. It also features a sophisticated instrument cluster that is equipped with a multi-trip meter, tachometer, low fuel warning lamp, driver seat belt notification, headlamp on warning lamp and door ajar indicator. This sedan has magnificent looking exteriors featuring a chrome belt liner, tinted glass, fog lamps, twin-chamber bright reflector headlamps and several other such aspects. Its comes with a dual tone interior cabin, which is incorporated with several sophisticated features like automatic AC unit, rear defogger, accessory power sockets and several other features. This sedan comes in eight attractive paint options including Moondust Silver, Sea Grey, Diamond White, Paprika Red, Panther Black, Kinetic Blue and Chill Metallic.
Exteriors:
This sedan has an asserting body design with an aerodynamic stature, which gives it an urbane appeal. To start with the front profile, it has a sleekly structured headlight cluster that is incorporated with powerful halogen lamps and turn indicators. The radiator grille is decorated with a prominent company's insignia. The front bumper is huge and is equipped with a large air intake section along with a pair of fog lamps, which dazzles the front profile. Coming to the sides, it has body colored door handles and outside wing mirrors, which are further integrated with turn indicators. Its wheel arches have been equipped with a set of 15-inch conventional steel wheels, which are further covered with 195/60 R15 sized tubeless radial tyres . Here, the B pillars are in black color while the window waistline comes with chrome treatment. Coming to the rear, it has a stylishly designed taillight cluster that is powered by high intensity lamps and turn indicators. The boot lid is quite large and is decorated with a chrome appliqué and company's badges.
Interiors:
The interiors of this Ford Fiesta AT Style trim is done up with fairland and syracuse color scheme, which is further accentuated by metallic inserts. The seats and the door trims have been covered with flat woven mondus max fabric upholstery, which gives a plush look to the cabin. The driver seat has height adjustment facility, while the rear seats have 100 percent folding facility, which enhances the interior comforts. The inside door handles and AC vents surround have a metallic finish, while the gearshift knob and instrument cluster bezel gets a molded black finish. This trim is powered by a 1.5-litre, Ti-VCT petrol engine that has the displacement capacity of 1499cc. This engine comes with 4 cylinders and 16 valves using a DOHC valve configuration. It is capable of producing a maximum power of 107.5bhp at 6045rpm that results in a peak torque output of 140Nm at just 4500rpm. The company has paired this motor with a 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox that distributes the torque to the front wheels. The manufacturer claims that the vehicle is capable of producing an impressive mileage in the range of 13.47 to 16.97 Kmpl.
Braking and Handling:
The front wheels of this trim have been fitted with ventilated disc brakes, whereas the rear ones have been paired with self adjusting drum brakes. This proficient braking combination is boosted by ABS with EBD and electronic stability program, which keeps the vehicle agile. Its front axle is fitted with independent McPherson Strut type of suspension accompanied by coil springs and anti roll bars. This Ford Fiesta AT Style is one of the mid range trim, but it is still bestowed with several top rated features.
