Jeep compass is sold under the tag line MOST AWARDEDSUV. Compass became hit by good look and super performance accompanied by JEEP'S reliability. Even if it was a jeep it was not a good offroader because of it's bumper and low ground clearance. Jeep trailhawk is introduced to rectify this complaint. There is only little difference between trailhawk and compass. It will be more accurate to say that trailhawk is a sporty version capable of going off road. Ground clearance has increased to 205mm. We also get panoramic sunroof, 8.4 inch infortainment system with apple car play, android auto and navigation, 7 inch multi information system, reverse camera with guideline assist, parking sensor, push button start,etc. We get 5 driving modes; auto, snow,mud, sand androck modes. This select terrain system is the main highlight of the car. Safety features are electronic stability programme, electric roll mitigation, traction control, electronic park brake, hill hold and hill descent control's, abs with ebd, 6 air bags. To avoid damage due to off roading high grade heavy duty steel under body covering is used. It's turning radius is only 5.7 m. It has 1st in segment bs6 engine. It uses 2.0 litre multijet turbo diesel , which is just the advanced engine used in jeep compass. The new engine produces 170bhp and 350 nm torque. It produces lesser emission and better fuel efficiency. And the new 2 litre engine is more refined and silent. It has 9 speed automatic transmission.
