- Honda Accord A Superb Executive Sedan Exorbitantly PricedSometimes brand name and latest tech can overpower your senses, compelling you to forget other shortcomings. And this is what exactly happened to me. I purchased Honda Accord last year looking at the factors such as the most advanced hybrid engine in its segment with a lot of gizmos. I am here to share my views about this amazing beauty. It's quiet, quick and handles my daily commute with ease. Honda Accord is the beautiful looking sedan and the ninth-generation model introduced by the company offers the hybrid powertrain for better fuel economy and greener environment. Honda is offering the Accord Hybrid in one variant only. Its exterior features include automatic LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, LED daytime running lights, electric sunroof and LED tail lamps. Interiors too, get attractive looks with leather upholstery lending the car a luxurious appeal. Seats are very comfy and at least five passengers can sit in the car with ease. The sedan comes packed with goodies such as leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a whole bunch of driver assistance safety techs. Honda Accord is powered by the 2.0L DOHC i-VTEC petrol mill that is capable of generating the output of 215PS and maximum torque of 175Nm, making it the most powerful sedan in the segment. Abundance of low-end torque in the vehicle results in effortless driveability in traffic. Accord is also the most fuel-efficient sedan in its class with ARAI certified mileage figures of 23.1kmpl. And since I travel a lot for my business meetings, the mileage figure above 20kmpl has been a boon for me. But remember, if you are looking for a value for money car with luxury and comfort similar to Accord, I would honestly recommend you go for Skoda Superb or Toyota Camry which is around Rs. 7 lakh cheaper than Accord with excellent service network. At Rs. 43 lakhs, Honda Accord is certainly not for everyone out there.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
