TUV 300 2015-2019 mHAWK100 T8 AMT रिव्यू

The Mahindra TUV 300 mHAWK100 T8 AMT comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine coupled to a 5-speed AMT transmission. It is based on the T8 variant and is the most expensive TUV 300 on sale in the Indian market. It is priced at Rs 9.91 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi, as of May 10, 2017) and is Rs 70,000 more expensive than the T8 variant with a 5-speed manual transmission. It is the fully loaded automatic TUV 300.

While the lower variants like T4 and T6 are powered by the mHAWK80 engine, the T8 AMT has a more powerful mHAWK100 engine. The 1.5-litre engine on the TUV 300 T6 Plus AMT produces 101.4PS of power and 240Nm of torque. Although the mHAWK100 is of same size as the mHAWK80 it is tuned to produce 16PS of more power and 10Nm of more torque. The AMT gearbox also has a manual mode where you can change gears manually.

In terms of safety, the TUV 300 mHAWK100 T8 AMT is equipped with features like driver and passenger airbags, anti-lock braking system and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

All the features that are available on the T8 manual variant, are also present in the T8 AMT. However, the AMT variant does miss featuares like micro Hybrid Technology, eco mode and regenerative braking.
