Latest Update: The Fisker Ocean’s India launch has now been confirmed for the last quarter of 2023.
Price: The Fisker Ocean is expected to have a starting price of Rs 80 lakh. However, the EV maker will launch the electric SUV’s top-spec variant first, which could be priced at around Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom).
Variants: Internationally, the Fisker Ocean comes in three broad variants: Sport, Ultra and Extreme.
Seating Capacity: The Ocean EV is offered in a 5-seater layout.
Battery, Electric Motor and Range: In India, the Fisker Ocean will likely be offered with a 113kWh battery pack, offering a WLTP-claimed range of up to 707km. The unit is mated to a dual motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setup which delivers up to 564PS and 736Nm (with boost). It can sprint from nought to 100kmph in 4 seconds.
Features: The electric SUV is equipped with a 17.1-inch rotatable touchscreen infotainment system, a 3D surround sound system, and a solar-panel roof (top-spec only). It also gets front and rear heated seats and powered tailgate.
Safety: Its list of safety features includes a 360-degree camera along with advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) features such as lane change assist, automatic emergency braking, multi-collision braking and driver drowsiness detection.
Rivals: The Fisker Ocean will rival the Audi e-tron, BMW iX and Jaguar I-Pace.
