In the Indian market, the three pointed star brand Mercedes always spell a large size luxury. The German maker is all set to dazzle the Indian market with the introduction of third generation Mercedes Benz A-class after couple of months. Though the car does not follows the dimensional stats of its predecessors, but yet made much extincting for the current generation. The car has been based on MFA platform which is inherited from the B-class that is selling like hot cake in India. This will be a surprise to those who will be expecting the regular huge dimensional merc, as it does not have a visual appeal of esteemed E or C-class. But then it stands distinct and unique with its own specialties and features. The styling part has been done beautifully ranging from the twin louver radiator grill that boasts the signature pointed star in chrome to the rear end, all speaks freshness. The side profile looks sporty with the sharp upsweapt crease that rises from the head lamps and extends till the rear door. Rear is made simple but conserves the impression of Mercedes for it.
On the inside it is purely a better merc, as it offers the quality and feature of any Mercedes executive cars. The black interiors feel sporty and the dashboard design is really smart. The noticeable SLS styled air con vents makes the car all more stylish. Moreover the gear lever comes integrated with the steering column that liberate the central console to support oodles of space for storage. The new feature into the vehicle is the i-phone integration that would be the first time in the Indian market. And so one can integrate his i-phone to this stunning driving device and watch the videos on the screen that comes embedded with the dashboard. The car would be offered in 2 engine variants, out of which the first one would be 1.6-liter turbo charged petrol mill, it churns out 122bhp and comes mated with 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The other trim will be powered by 1.8-liter diesel.
