Both cars are of different segments and have different characteristics. Mini Cooper convertible is fun to drive and adorable too. This is one of those cars that just make you happy. The asking price is way too much for a car that would essentially be your second or third, but if you are going to get the Mini, just ditch those more hardcore hardtop and get one of these droptop convertibles instead! On the other hand, Volvo XC400 is impressive to drive and will make your city commutes calmer and more refined. You will not miss the all-wheel-drive in your daily affairs. Inside the cabin too, it remains quirky, premium and extremely practical. And then you have the class-leading safety tech, which gives you a peek into the future. The only niggle is that the ride quality, while not a deal-breaker, could have been better suited to our road conditions. Overall, the XC40 still remains pretty desirable. You may compare both the cars according to their variants too. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
