Tell me about Mahindra Scorpio interiors?
The Next-Gen Mahindra Scorpio’s interiors are luxurious and leaps ahead of its predecessor. They are done with premium materials and a dual-tone black and cream color scheme. The dashboard is compact as before and stands tall. It gets different textures of materials on the dash. The rectangular A/C vents in the center and trapezoidal on either side are enclosed with chrome lining that lends rich look to the insides. The left hand side of the dash features Scorpio engraving and has glovebox and vanity mirror on the passenger side sun flap . The central console is an interesting spot as it houses the state of art touch screen infotainment system having bluetooth that this new Scorpio features, surrounded by a host of electronic dials and switchgear(A/C and music system controls). Another great aspect of the interior comfort are front semi-bucket adjustable seats that fancy a number of seating postures and height for the driver comfort. A newly designed multi-function steering wheel makes operating the music system easier and looks great as well. The steering wheel is tilt and reach adjustable. It also offers easy access of windsheild wiper controls, mounted on the right of the steering. Moreover, to make the interiors more functional there are electrically adjustable ORVM's. Scorpio also come with night time driving inner rear view mirror. Space comes handy with an SUV and Scorpio is no exception as there is generous amount of both headroom and legroom. The front seats are deep-set so that you feel planted when on corner of having some fun off-road. On the air-conditioning front the powerful A/C unit keeps the cabin chilled, thanks to the roof mounted A/C vents that help circulate air evenly throughout the cabin. The in-cabin lights in the middle will only turn light on when the door is open.
