Both EcoSport and Duster feature hill assist. Ford’s EcoSport has been the benchmark in terms of how much fun you could have in a small SUV. The EcoSport continues to be a tempting package, especially considering the recent price cut. It’s got the looks, feels like a pucca mini-SUV, and is quite a hoot to drive enthusiastically. If that’s what you want from your next car, the EcoSport is a proven choice. But, it’s also showing its age; especially in the drivetrain department. The noisy engine, the heavy clutch, the notchy gear shifts, and the stiff ride are all things you can live without. A slightly wider cabin would’ve made its case stronger as a family car too. On the other hand, if you want to buy the Duster for daily office commutes and occasional highway driving then we would suggest going for the 1.5-liter engine variants of the car as it has enough power and is a much better proposition. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details. Selecting the right fuel type depends on your utility and the average running of the car. If you drive less than 50km in a day then we recommend you to go with a petrol car as they are easy to maintain, have a longer life span and they cost less initially than the diesel car. On the other hand, diesel cars are preferred if the average daily run is more than 50km which makes it a feasible purchase. Diesel cars are more fuel-efficient and provide more torque, therefore, are preferred for a person who drives more than 50km. Whereas, petrol engine has a low service cost, more life span, generally have a well-controlled NVH level and are cheaper in cost than the diesel engines. Moreover, if you are getting a good deal then you may go for used cars, if not, then you may go for a new one. Purchasing a used car would depend on certain factors such as the physical condition, kilometers driven, number of owners, engine's health, etc. We would suggest you take a test drive before making the final decision. Q.

    Nexon or EcoSport

Both the cars are good with their own forte. Reasons to buy the Nexon however remain the same: its 5-star safety, ride comfort, sound system, rear-seat space and value for money mid variants. Where the Nexon fails to impress is its powertrain and the cabin practicality. Overall, though it is a better Nexon, it fails to hit it out of the park. On the other hand, The EcoSport continues to be a tempting package, especially considering the recent price cut.
