The search for the new car started as we had a new member in the family, my son! First task was to shortlist a type of car based on our needs, which were:
1.Diesel
2.Ground Clearance(min 180mm)
3.Comfortable suspension
4.Compact yet good enough space inside
5.Will be used for at least 5 years.
So finally, between S-Cross 1.3 Zeta and Ecosport Titanium, I chose Ecosport titanium and I am very happy with the decision. So far with the ODO at 700 KMs, I canread full review...
After waiting for almost 50 days, I finally got my Ford Ecosport (Ecoboost) Trend Plus Diamond White (though we booked for different color, but couldn't wait anymore) two days back & since then I have driven almost 250 kms. It is quite big in size that gives me the actual SUV feel. The car is loaded with so many good features. It is not a hard-core technical review, rather it is my experience after driving these many kilometres.
1.The Turbo-charged Ecoboost engine (bit down in loweread full review...
Touch Screen System:
1. Not Synchronized with rest of the functions and button on both the front panel and steering wheel
2. Dial pad (number keys) on front panel cannot be used for dialing nos. as was demostrated by the salesperson. These buttons are of no practical use anymore since it is not connected with the touch screen system. Looks like a toy phone given to a kid - with lots of buttons without any use.
3. Arrow keys/ OK keys given on the front panel - not connected withread full review...
I recently purchased Ford Ecosport Platinum edition (1.5 diesel). The car is great to drive around. The tyres are bigger (205/55 R17) and look great with the new alloys. It has cruise control (although haven't tested it yet) and the usual top-end features like rain sensing wipers, auto-headlamps.Like the previous reviews by others the space at the rear cabin is a bit less as compared to other cars in the same segment but then for me it's not much of a concern. This is my first diesel carread full review...
I regret having bought this car. I had never owned a Ford before and I didn't do enough research before buying it, assuming that a company that practically invented the assembly line and has been making cars for more than 100 years would have nothing to offer but good quality. Too late I realized that in the US, fewer and fewer people are buying Fords citing bad product quality relative to European and Japanese cars.On the plus side, this car handles very well. The steering is very light andread full review...
So, 3 years back I asked my Dad to buy me a car as I used to travel a lot in my alto and I realised that it would be cost effective if I had a Diesel car. After discussing this with my Dad we both agreed on a budget of 4 lacs rupees and decided to buy a second hand sedan. I found a second hand Hyundai Verna in my budget and I was going to take a test drive on that day, but as they say mothers have the last say in the house so did my mother as she suggested lets put in 3 lacs more and go for a braread full review...
The Ford has been the constant road companion in my family since 2005. We have been lucky enough to transit with Ford vehicles starting from the Ford Ikon in 2005, the Ford Figo in 2010 and the Ford Ecosport in 2014. And honestly, it feels like I've moved from glory to glory. The car honestly seems have delivered its value for money. It comes around with many perks which do include a nippy display screen indicating the distance as the car reverses; warning signs on any door / boot left openread full review...
Exterior The exterior looks very sporty and compact, especially when we watch it on the roads. The design and the finish qualty is excellent and can easily match with the other cars in this segment. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very good interiors with a jazzy look. Initially there might be a bit of confusion with the controls and the menus, but once you get used to it, there are no concerns and everything is very smooth. the car is very spacious from inside, not only the front sread full review...
Look and Style Hello! I have been driving Ford EcoSport for 7 months and I am pleased with whatever stuff the company has loaded it with. The main reason of choosing Ford EcoSport was its spotless and most contemporary SUV design. I am impressed with its shape, bulkiness and amazing architecture. The front design makes onlookers feel that it cost over 15 lakhs but honestly it comes at a much cheaper price tag. Front, sides and even rear are crafted intelligently and particularly the dual read full review...
With the title and the ratings given, it would appear as if I do no give priority to good looks in a car because when compared to its competitors, the Ford Ecosport does not tick the 'handsome' checkbox. But, all the charm of good looks becomes secondary once you're behind the wheels and driving. Ford's engineers have provided the car with such an outstanding ride quality and engine that it does not feel like you are sitting in a cute looking car that's basically a fiesta on read full review...
Being an owner of a Ford Ecosport petrol for the past 2 years, I have finally come to a conclusion that I have made a mistake buying this car. Initially, I really enjoyed its performance and looks but slowly, as the time passed, the car started to eat into my pocket. The car still drives great and looks good but the fuel economy and servicing cost have rendered me helpless. I am a bachelor and usually go out with my friends on drives. But, seating five in the car always becomes an issue. Space read full review...
When we were looking for a vehicle in 10-11 lakh price bracket last year in December, I came to know about the EcoSport. Came pretty impressed after the test drive. In the price band of a c-segment sedan, you get a lot of features plus you sit high off the ground. And when it rains you can easily maneuver around if the street is slightly flooded since it comes with 550mm of water wading. A lot of cars struggles in this situation. It is also good for soft off-roading as it sits 205 mm above the read full review...

Hi Team, I have purchased the car, within 2 year my 2 Tyre got burst out as a side cut, The tyre company has taken a narrow escape by just stating that it is a side cut and they cannot do anything, the Side cut were just due to a small pinch and as its tubeless tyre the tyre was not able to take the weight of the car and get a very deep cut. this has result me to change 2 tyre within 3 months, moreover Ford has also not supported me. We all know EcoSport was the car which started it all in the sub-4 meter segment and helped the American giant to build a solid reputation in the country. But past few years with the introduction of Vitara Brezza and Tata Nexon, the car started to lose its ground. However, the new version, in my opinion, could reclaim its lost glory. Yes, I am driving this mid-life facelift and I keep on finding something new every single day. The car still retains the SUV feel without wearing that boxy design. read full review...
I would not recommend this car for the mileage conscious people. It has been over a month since I purchased the FORD ECOSPORT 1.5 PETROL AMBIENTE despite a lot of negative reviews about Ford cars in India pertaining to lack of spare parts and exorbitant after sales service. But when I saw the new Ecosport Canyon Ridge model, I completely fell in love with the looks and the sturdiness of the vehicle. I chose the base model because it had almost everything in it which I needed. However, after drivread full review...
Eco sport was damaged internally due to use of very poor material inside of the car and Ford India had denied from taking responsibility of using low grade material. I have 1.5 diesel titanium plus of model 2016. I drove it for 9000KMs. I am fine with this vehicle as far as I drive on flat roads. I observed a low pick up at ascending heights even at 1st gear when vehicle is fully loaded i,e 5 people. I recently got a strange experience with this vehicle when I happened to stay inside the cabin at engine-off condition and started to listen audio for 2 hours. To my surprise, the battery was drained off and i struck up at that point as doors were also not closeread full review...

1000+ km driven in city traffic. it is giving a mileage of 24.0 Km/L (crossed checked manually). There are numerous positive points & a few negatives, which are -
1. Steering could have been lighter like honda/ hyundai
2. Puddle lamps do not turn off during day time.
3. Engine noise filtering in cabin could have been reduced more.
4. Rear door bottles can not be taken out of the door without opening the door.

Saw the new Ford EcoSport facelift at a dealership the other day, it looked quite similar to the old one. But what caught my attention was its new front, with that big grill flanked with big chunky headlamps, it looks angry. The new 17-inch alloy also adds to its imposing presence. Inside the car, it was a surprise, the cabin has gone through a serious makeover. Now, dash looks clean and well sorted and those single tone interiors look premium and sporty. That 8-inch touchscreen dominates the ceread full review...
