The German automobile manufacturer has come up with all new Jetta. As the Volkswagen means “People’s Car”, this car truly classifies into this category for sure. Originally launched in 2008, Jetta has seen numerous changes like the introduction of latest features or the quality of engine. Volkswagen Jetta 2.0L TDI Comfortline comes with an exhilarating power and beautiful sporty look. This new model is sculpted with very minute details and charismatic features. It is a true example of power and styling into one groundbreaking effect. It has a very powerful 138bhp TDI engine which removes any compromises in the overall performance of the car. This model has a 6 speed manual transmission which promises a smooth and great fuel economy, thus more power and less fuel consumption. This specific variant is available in 6 colors whose names are Candy White, Reflex Silver Metallic, Toffee Brown Metallic, Deep Black Pearl Effect, Platinum Grey Metallic and Moon Rock Silver Metallic. Other exteriors features include adjustable headlights, rain sensing wipers, defogger, tinted glass, tubeless tyres, outside rear view turn indicators etc.      

Interiors

If one thought that the exteriors were amazing, now it’s time to be bedazzled. The leather stitched seat upholstery has been very carefully selected and designed to give the complete comfort to the driver and passengers. Even the small things such as armrest, AC vents, storage compartment etc has been crafted with great care and quality. The exclusive leather package covers the steering wheel, hand brake grip and gear shift knob. There is numerous storage spaces like under the front armrest and on headliner. The glove compartment is illuminated and lockable which is a very unique feature that one doesn’t simply sees in other cars. The dashboard and the doors have some decorative woods insert in them. Engine and Performance 

Volkswagen Jetta 2.0L TDI Comfortline has the state of the art turbocharged diesel engine which has 4 cylinders and an in line common rail. It has a massive 1968cc of engine displacement. And the maximum power and torque generated comes out to be 138bhp at the rate of 4200rpm and 320Nm in the range between 1750 to 2500 rotations per minute respectively. The top speed as claimed by company is 210kmph thanks to the 6 speed gearbox which works quite efficiently and effectively. This car gives a great fuel consumption of 19.33kmpl which is pretty high considering the powerful engine. The TDI technology not only generate a lot of power and performance but it also isolates loud noise leaving just pleasantly quiet sound from the engine. 

Braking and Handling

The tyres, brakes, steering and suspension are the most important aspects in a car. And in Volkswagen Jetta 2.0L TDI Comfortline they are certainly of best quality and no compromises have been made. Both front and rear brakes are disc brakes which are very well supported by coil spring (with shock absorbers) and suspension stabilizer as front axle and multi link suspension (with stabilizer) as rear axle. The steering is power assisted and electronic. The wheel rim size is 6.5J X 16 and the tyres which are used in this model are having the size of 205/55 R16.   

Safety features

A number of safety and security features in Volkswagen Jetta 2.0L TDI Comfortline. The Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) including the Anti Braking System (ABS) with brake assist is installed for better grip and safety of the car. It also has hill hold control as well as the ASR & EDL. The height adjustable front seat belt with belt tensioner is a good addition. There are ISOFIX points which are mounted for two child seats in the rear seats. It also has the driver and front passenger airbags with curtain airbag system for rear passengers. The electronic engine immobilizer and guard for transmission and engine comes factory fitted for additional security. It also has 3 rear headrest and central locking system.            

Comfort features

The “Climatic” air conditioner, rake and reach adjustment for steering wheel, illuminated vanity mirrors, height adjustable front seats are some of the comfort features in this Jetta model. A light and sight package has been installed with rain sensors too. The park distance control (front and both rear) comes into play while one has trouble parking in tight spaces and it also shows acoustic warning too. The exterior mirrors are electrically adjustable, foldable and heated too. The “RCD 300 Plus” music system has a CD player, an AUX in and 8 speakers to blow anyone’s mind. Also the steering wheel has multi functions for audio player and a control for multi function display. One thing that is missing from this model is the cruise control feature which is a bit disappointing considering the price of the car.
