The upcoming MPV Nissan Evalia has been recently captured in lens in Chennai and the pictures taken suggest that this neoteric MPV has been designed and styled as a tall car with upward stance. This MPV boasts narrow front doors and sliding rear doors; the front end features a short bonnet, saw-toothed grille and uniquely designed headlamps. About the interiors of the Nissan Evalia MPV the spy pictures reveal that the car has adopted the steering wheel of the Sunny and Micra but without the mounted audio-controls.
The inside theme is done in a dual-tone that makes this Nissan MPV pretty plush, also included are the power windows, basic radio and CD player and manual controls for the air-conditioning. Powering the Evalia MPV is the 1.5 liter dCi turbocharged diesel engine that is also doing duty in some other significant cars including the diesel version of Nissan Sunny sedan. Built on the famous B-platform from Nissan the Evalia is a seven seater multi purpose vehicle that follows the 2+3+2 configuration.
Nissan India is gearing us for the launch of Evalia which is scheduled in next few months. Post the launch this Nissan MPV is expected to contend against the segment leading Toyota Innova, the favorite Mahindra Xylo and the affordable Maruti Ertiga.
