New Chevrolet Aveo sedan to be launched in 2011

Recently, the next generation Aveo sedan was seen going through various tests at an unidentified location. This Aveo sibling was highly camouflaged and looked a little bigger in its size. The front look of this next gen Aveo looked very much similar to that of the hatch. Also incorporated at the front were the twin barrel headlamps, the creases on the bonnet and the split Chevy grille. The sides of this new Chevrolet Aveo looked like that of Chevrolet Cruze. This new Aveo showed silhouette of a coupe and had rear with tail lamps which looked quite alike to those found in Chevrolet Beat and the Chevrolet Aveo hatch. The interiors of this next gen Aveo had the combination of features from the interiors of Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Beat and Chevrolet Aveo hatch.

The dash in the new Chevrolet Aveo sedan is of V shape and it is importantly visible. It is being expected that the new Aveo sedan will be made available in the Indian auto market with a 1.3 liter Multijet diesel engine having VGT technology. This technology will help create ninety five BHP and also will be produced domestically. Apart from this, it is also being speculated that a 1.4 liter petrol engine and also a 1.6 liter petrol engine will also be there generating 100 BHP & 116 BHP respectively. As per the industry sources, this new Chevrolet Aveo sedan will be revealed in the coming year at the North American International Auto Show. This Aveo sibling will be hitting the Indian roads during the late 2011 as expected. This product is very significant and crucial to General Motoras because the existing Aveo siblings have not been so successful. The coming next gen Chevrolet Aveo might support the company in marking its presence in the C segment.
