When asked about the e2o's initial response from the market, he said that the car has created a lot of interest and queries, however the buying conversion is lower than expected. He also hopes to get subsidy from other states to promote electric vehicles like Delhi. Delhi has provided 29 per cent subsidy on sale of electric car. The company is confident to sell about 400-500 e2o units every month in the domestic market, he added.

The response however might not be as good as the company expected, but we appreciate the efforts of Mahindra & Mahindra, which has constantly working on alternative fuel options and technologies. So, we wish them all the best for their next endeavours.
