Mahindra Reva NXR 2012: the four seater car

Mahindra Reva the electric car which had foreseen the future much before the other car makers even thought of stepping in the electric car segment. Mahindra Reva looked more like a golf car with a body. The electric car could manage two people to squeeze in the front and at the rear it did not allow much of space. Mahindra Reva can range upto 65 kph of top speed along with range of 60 to 80 kms. The car was super savvy but could only be taken for errands such as picking up kids, shopping or such little things.

The electric car was engineered for future but with the bugs scoring high it could not deliver what was promised. Mahindra Reva never felt like a big car, it was difficult to drive it on uphill because of the low power output. However, now the makers have amended the loop holes and are alls et to present the new generation Mahindra Reva NXR. The new super electric car allows four adults to seat in, speeding upto 104 kph. The new Mahindra Reva NXR after a chrage can run till 160 km.

The new electric car Mahindra Reva NXR will be introduced in 2012 and after the launch it will be India's own electric car. The car has been manufactured to easily sway away in the city traffic. The recently announced 2011 Union Budget will benefit the electric car maker. It is being highly speculated that other car makers have also pulled its socks and is looking forward to invest in the electric car segment.

Rumour has it that Tata Motors the domestic auto mobile maker is planning to launch Tata Indica Vista EV in Denmark, UK and Norway in sometime. As per the reports the new electric car is based on Tata Indica platform which is one of the best selling cars from Tata's stable.
