GM India focuses on Safety at the Bangalore Auto Show 2011

General Motors India is participating in the Auto Show in Bangalore being organized at Palace Grounds from August 25 – 28, 2011. The theme for Chevrolet’s pavilion at the Show is ‘Safety Drive’ which aims to spread awareness about traffic rules, driver behavior and safety features in vehicles that can make a difference in preventing accidents on roads.

In line with this year’s theme, a special safety lounge has been created at the pavilion to establish a customer connect on safety by educating them on the importance of restraint systems including seat belts, airbags, etc and how they work during a crash.

The Auto Show in Bangalore provides us an ideal platform to exhibit GM India’s best-in-class product offerings and engage with the valued consumers to educate them about road safety and the importance of our vehicle safety features.”

GM India’s pavilion at the Auto Show will display interesting safety information and provide the visitors an opportunity to interact with the engineers working at GM India’s Technical Center (GMTCI) in Bangalore. It will further educate the visitors about safe driving techniques through audio-visuals developed jointly in association with Bangalore Traffic Police.

A range of carlines will also be displayed at the pavilion including Chevrolet Spark, Chevrolet Beat Petrol, Chevrolet Cruze and Chevrolet Captiva, apart from the recently launched Chevrolet Beat Diesel, India’s most fuel efficient car. The visitors will be treated with special spot offers including Rs. 5000/- worth accessories on Spark and Beat Petrol and discounts of up to Rs. 60,000 (on-road) on Chevrolet Spark and up to Rs. 24,000 on Chevrolet Beat Petrol.
