Troller the wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Brazil introduces the 2014 Troller T4 off roader. The new T4 is based on the Troller R-X concept, showcased at the 2012 Sao Paulo Motor Show. Ford Brazil brought the Troller brand back in 2007. It appears that 2014 T4 is the Ford Bronco which Bronco fans are pining for long in the US. The vehicle received radical improvement in design with inspirations from the 2004 Ford Bronco concept showcased at NY Auto Show.

Troller T4 is Ford's answer to Jeep Wrangler, the images surely be enticing you and you would probably think that is it coming to India? As Fiat-Chrysler is bringing Jeep Wrangler in the country. Well, there's no confirmation that whether it will ever be sold outside Brazil, even in US. Like Troller some brands are for a specific country only to serve their needs like Dacia , Lincoln, Lada, Lancia, etc. The previous generation of Troller T4 features high resemblance with the Jeep Wrangler TJ.

On the design front, comparing T4 with its predecessor, it is a whole new territory. At front, the off-roader gets beefy bumper, honeycombed grille splitted with a bar sporting Troller badging, typical of Ford. The whole body sports contrasting colors and heavy plastic cladding. Though the design is typical Jeep-esque but LED tail lamps, roof spoiler with LED stop lamp add a touch of freshness.

The vehicle sports spare wheel mounted on the boot. The new T4 features integrated bash guard, tow hooks both at front and rear, sky roof – glass roof, gun metal alloys with all-terrain-tyres. Ford did not revealed the interiors of the new Troller T4. However, the company says that the interiors of the off-roader can easily be cleaned after a muddy enjoyment at Brazilian country side! Apart from this, the vehicle will feature all the latest equipments.

The mighty Troller T4 will be powered by a 3.2 liter turbo diesel, though the specification are still not revealed by Ford. It might be the engine that Ford incorporated in the New 2014 Transit van. The all-new 3.2 liter five cylinder turbo diesel in Transit produces 197hp of maximum power and 470Nm peak torque. If this finds a place under the hood of new Troller, then it will be a hell of machine with 90 percent of 470Nm available at just 1700rpm! Ford's 3.2 liter In-line 5 cyl is highly predictable in the car as you can see in the video the prototype vehicle furiously evading the waters!
