Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo is likely to pull out his team from the Formula One tournament, as according to the Chairman it "isn't working" the way it supposed to be. The company has long disputes with the Federation International d'Automobile (FIA) which have now soared-up with the recent F1 rules changes.
At an interview in Maranello, Italy, Ferrari boss said, “Formula One isn't working." In a criticizing tone he said, the FIA "have forgotten that people watch the racing for the excitement. Nobody watches racing for the efficiency, come on."

In order to make the Formula One Racing more Eco-friendly, the governing body has decided to introduce a new turbo hybrid V6 engine, which is quieter and less polluting. But according to the  Montezemolo, people come to formula one races for the thrill and adrenaline rush. They love the engine roar and using a hybrid power-train is killing that experience.  His exact word were, ''People watch racing to be entertained," he said. "No one wants to watch a driver save gas or tyres. They want to see them push from here to there. It's sport, yes, but also a show."

From the team's inception in 1950, Ferrari has won 15 F1 drivers' titles and 16 constructors' championships along with the 221 Grand Prix victories. But the current year is not going as per the expectation of its boss. In the current season, both the drivers Fernando Alonso and Räikkönen failed to win a single race while in the team's leader-board score, Ferrari managed to be at third position, although there is a huge gap between the first and the third. On being asked why the team is not doing good in the current session, Montezemolo blamed the rules of FIA saying that the team-engineers are not allowed to touch the engine. Montezemolo also said, "We can not do sportscar racing and Formula One. It's not possible."
