Chevrolet makes Asha Bhosle, ambassador for Global Indian Music Awards

India has always been known for its culture and in that music has always played an important part. India has seen many internationally fame music artisans. To capture the same aura and felicitate the great musicians, singers, new talent Chevrolet has come with music awards for the Indian film industry. Chevrolet, a global name in the auto industry, is spreading its wings in India. It is already at a fast pace in capturing the Indian auto market but is now entering the glam industry of India. And to perfectly grace the occasion Asha Bhosle has been crowned as the Goodwill Ambassador of the Chevrolet Global Indian Music Awards. Asha Bhosle is a versatile singer who has an experience of 50 years and more, which perfectly matches the Chevrolet India's journey. The versatile singer will inaugurate Chevrolet Global Indian Music Awards (GIMA) the multi- genre awards on 10th November at a grand ceremony powered by Micromax Mobile. Wizcraft International, has initiated the new awards which is co sponsored by IMI, SAI, T-Series, MCAI and also supported by important constituents of the Indian music industry. Asha Bhosle, unvield the trophy at Blue Frog, GIMA symbol is shaped in a shell with seven strokes which symbolizes the sound of oceans which is pure and serene. The stroke represents, the seven notes of music.

Asha Bhosle, the Goodwill Ambassador of Chevrolet GIMA, happily said that, she is extremely delighted and honored with the role. She also added that, it is a great moment for the Indian Music industry and is entirely her privilege to be part of the event.

Sumit Sawhney, Vice-President, Marketing, Sales & After Sales of GM India said that, the celebrations in GM is on for completing 100 years in the auto industry globally. And GMIA is an extension of the celebration. Chevrolet always believed in giving its customers the best of products and satisfaction. With GIMA, the company wishes to pay respect to the Indian music industry.

On competition of 100 years, Chevrolet organized a vintage car rally in New Delhi. GM India has extensive plans to capture a meaty chunk in the market. The company recently introduced the diesel version of Volkswagen Vento which is sure to give its rivals a reason to worry.
