It also utilises the M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine, which uses twin VANOS and Valvetronic intelligent technologies to provide optimum fuel and oxygen intake for every driving situation. Despite its impressive performance, the Gran Coupé only consumes an average of 9.9 litres per 100 kilometres and is therefore one of the top of its class.
The M5 Saloon which made its debut in May, on the eve of the 24-hour Nurburgring race, will also feature at this September’s Salon Privé. Improvements to the new M5 include boosting the 4.4-litre V8 engine from 552bhp to 567bhp while also introducing a new sports suspension, which lowers the vehicle by 10mm.
