Nissan Sunny 2015 (XVD-Leather) Overall review

I bought Nissan Sunny XVD Premium Bronze Grey(Leather seats) in Oct-2016. My first impression on seeing the caaar "WOW" it was very beautiful both from outside and interiors. Indeed it looked premium & luxury to my eyes. Exteriors have very smooth counters with intricate lines on bonnet enriching the visuals of the car. From the side, the car looks very long with the nice set of chrome handles which enhances the exterior looks of the car. I personally like the grill design of Nissan sunny, but I feel it would have been better if somehow Nissan would have incorporated the Nissan V-Motion grill design for this Sunny. Rear view of the car is too plain, doesn't feel great feels like very ordinary, need to improve the aesthetics in next facelift if they planning. Headlamps & Tail lamps: The redesigned headlamps which go synonymously with the shape of tail lamps is not bad, but Nissan should have worked on it more since it is the one which catches the customers eyes when they look at any new car while purchasing. Alloy wheels: Design looks very updated, modern & fresh and definitely competes with the modern design of alloy wheels of many competitor vehicles. Coming to the interiors of the car, I did not find any reasons to complain much, except for the infotainment system. Whenever I step into the car, the colour harmony of the interior trims. And bit of chrome on inside door handles and the shape of chrome handles soothes my eyes. The leather seats has a good comfort level for driver, however for better visibility I have to raise the height of the seat to utmost position, seat height adjustment feature is a welcome move. I really miss the driver side armrest in sunny.How could Nissan miss out this important feature in this segment, im really surprised.It really make long drives hectic and painful. For the car which is more than 4.5 meter in length Features like reverse parking camera, rear parking sensor is really useful while parking the car or during reversing. Coming on the audio system,2-Din display audio is good to have but there is no navigation even in top variant of the vehicle which disappoints me. Other than that, it has all features like aux in, usb compatibility which comes now as standard in many vehicles. Steering wheel design looks modern compared to the previous version of steering wheel design which had feminine look. Audio controlled Switches are positioned ergonomically and quality looks very good. Looking at the performance of the car I feel it is not the most powerful car and surely it lacks the bhp which lets down most of the car enthusiasts. handling point of view its just awesome, neatly steers across the corners at high speeds, road grip is also good. However you get bit scared during braking at high speeds, stopping power is less compared to any competitor vehicles. Fuel Efficiency is the feature which I love of this car. During long run it easily gave the mileage of 23.8km/liter with AC on. If you limit the speed in 80 to 90 kmph you can easily get the mileage of over 24kmpl.Im talking about the diesel variant here. In city it has given the mileage of 16 to 17kmpl. About petrol variant it gives 17-18 kmpl on highways and 14 to 15 kmpl in city driving. Overall experience of owning the Nissan Sunny is great & I prefer everyone can use it as a family car and not performance oriented which gives nice comfort over long drives and fun to drive.
