Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Incredible Road Presence at a Price
Light pick-up trucks serve a great purpose for commercial business activities as well as give you comfy SUVish cabin. Though these vehicles still do not suit the Indian driving taste buds, its not stopping the carmakers from foraying into this segment and make the most out of it. Where Mahindra has Scorpio Getaway in his portfolio, Tata has entered this segment with Xenon XT while Japanese automaker Isuzu has come up with its D-Max. The pick-up truck has bold styling with incredible road presence and robust build quality. In fact, the build quality according to experts is the best among the pickup trucks currently running in India. The 2.5L diesel engine is a practical power supply with 132bhp and impressive 340Nm of torque onboard while the good drivability is complemented by high ground clearance. The 4WD system boosts its capability further. It doesn't lose the pick-up appeal as it has massive boot space. What most people would dislike is the bumpy ride quality in cities and the steep price against what rivals are offering. Moreover, the reason why this segment is not properly growing is that there are few people who would pass through an SUV and buy a pick-up instead. But still for people want to get best of both the worlds, Isuzu D-Max V-Cross is a good choice to make.
