Tesla is yet to confirm if the Tesla Cybertruck will be launched in India or not. However, if it is launched, we expect the prices to begin from Rs 50.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

The US-spec Tesla Cybertruck is offered in two broad variants:

• All Wheel Drive

• Cyberbeast

What are the features of the Tesla Cybertruck EV?

In terms of features, the Tesla Cybertruck comes with an 18.5-inch touchscreen, a 15-speaker sound system (with 2 subwoofers), a panoramic glass roof, multi-zone auto AC, wireless phone charger and an air purifier. It also comes with a 9.4-inch screen for the rear passengers and EV-specific features like vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charging support. 

What are the powertrain options available with the Tesla Cybertruck?

The Tesla Cybertruck is offered with a 122.4 kWh battery pack and an option between a dual- or tri-motor setup, the specifications of which are as follows:

• All Wheel Drive: Two electric motors producing a combined output of 600 PS and 10,000 Nm, claimed range of more than 500 km

• Cyberbeast: Three electric motors with a combined production of 857 PS and 14,000 Nm, claimed range of more 500 km

What are the safety features available with the Tesla Cybertruck?

On the safety front, the international-spec model comes with 6 airbags (as standard), all-four disc brakes and ISOFIX child seat anchorages. It also gets full autonomous driving, like other offerings of the carmaker.

What will be the rivals to the Tesla Cybertruck?

If the Tesla Cybertruck debuts in India it will not have any direct rivals.
