Premier Rio LX is placed just above Premier Rio DX and has been imparted with numerous impressive features and a very dynamic and responsive engine. The 1.5 litre of four cylinder diesel engine generates peak power of 64.8 PS at the rate of 4000 rpm along with peak torque of 152 Nm at the rate of 2250 to 3000 rpm. This 1489cc of diesel engine is BSIII compliant and is extremely fuel efficient. The engine has been coupled with five speed manual gearbox, which thereby ensures the car to deliver an impressive mileage of 12 to 16 km per litre.  Coming to the highlighting features of the variant, the SUV comes with anti lock braking system with brake assist and EBD, central locking system and keyless entry. The fog lamps have been installed at both front and at the rear end of the SUV. The leather seats give the interiors of the car a very posh atmosphere, while the air conditioning system is very effective and cools off nice in the hot and humid summers.
