स्विफ्ट 2014-2021 LXI Option SP Limited Edition रिव्यू

Maruti Swift LXI Option SP Limited Edition is launched with a package including additional features both on the inside and outside. Externally, it has a couple of bright fog lamps, body colored door mirrors, wheel covers, black A-pillars, and “SP” badge on boot lid as well as driver side door. Coming to its interiors, this package comprises of memory foam SP branded cushions, 60:40 split foldable rear seat, audio unit with Bluetooth connectivity, 4 well placed speakers, as well as sporty covers for steering wheel and seats. Also, the central locking with keyless entry, power windows and reverse parking sensors are on offer. This machine carries a 1.2-litre petrol engine under its hood, which comes integrated with a multi point fuel injection system. The rear seat has 60:40 split folding function that helps to bring in more luggage. A few sophisticated equipments are present in the cockpit, which is elegantly designed. Some of these include a center console with AC unit, music system and a three spoke steering wheel with a new cover. All these are equipped to its dashboard. There are pockets on front door trims, and a room lamp is also available. Besides these, the cabin includes rear parcel shelf, high volume glove box, foldable assist grips, and memory foam SP branded cushions as well.

Engine and Performance:

It is powered by a 1.2-litre, K-series petrol engine that comes with a displacement capacity of 1197cc. This is a four cylinder mill that has 16 valves. A multi point fuel injection system is integrated to this mill. It can generate a maximum power of 83.1bhp at 6000rpm and yields torque of 115Nm at 4000rpm. This motor is paired with a five speed manual transmission gear box that transmits power to its front wheels. Fuel economy on highways comes to nearly 20.4 Kmpl and about 15.6 Kmpl on city roads. This vehicle consumes approximately 14 seconds to break the 100 Kmph speed mark and achieves a top speed between 150 to 155 Kmph.

Braking and Handling:

On the front axle, it has a McPherson strut and a torsion beam is affixed on the rear one. This combination assures great stability and a jerk free drive. Braking system is highly reliable wherein, ventilated discs are fitted to its front wheels and drum brakes are equipped to the rear ones. It is also incorporated with a rack and pinion based electronic power steering column. This comes with tilt adjustment function and makes driving easy in any road condition.

Comfort Features:

In terms of comfort, there is a sophisticated music system incorporated, which supports Bluetooth connectivity as well. Its speakers give out excellent listening experience and adds to the entertainment quotient. The foldable rear seat is an advantage, since it allows to enhance room for luggage. Its instrument panel includes fuel consumption display, low fuel warning lamp, odometer, digital clock and a few other notifications. It has power windows with auto down function only on the driver's side. There is a retractable cup holder for passenger, while the manually operated air conditioner adds more convenience. The list also has lane change indicator, remote fuel lid and back door opener, accessory socket, sunvisors, and a ticket holder as well.

Safety Features:

This variant is offered with several security features that ensures maximum protection. Some of these include reverse parking sensors, rear door child locks, head restraints, and dual horn. There are three point front and rear ELR seat belts offered along with a lap belt in the middle.
