Mercedes two years back gave a makeover to its largest full-sized SUV, the GLS. Actually, GLS is the updated version of GL Class which I proudly owned before this. The car looks similar to the older version but is more comfortable to ride in my opinion. This car is an awesome treat for highway trips. In terms of seat comfort, it's a notch above the GL. Though I never felt the need for the third row, the rear space still gives ample of room. The front seats are comfy and commanding as ever. Comfort takes a different route when you operate this machine. The 8-inch infotainment takes pride position on the dashboard with every bit of information available in high-resolution display. The carmaker has also added five different ambient lighting systems that lift the aura while driving. Other features onboard that give pleasure are panoramic sunroof, electrically foldable third row seats, cooling/heating functionality of the cup holders. If you are hunting a 7-seater luxury SUV that cost around Rs. 85 lakhs, Mercedes Benz GLS should be on your list.
