I recently got a chance to spend time with the Mahindra Thar lxd mt 2WD and honestly, it feels more than just a car. It has a strong personality, the first thing that stands out is bold look. Whenever I goes, people sees that design feels premium specially the hard top and definitely gives the adventure ready vibe. The diesel engine feel strong and smooth especially on highway and open road, the manual gearbox is enjoyable to use and the car feels more powerful while driving in city traffic, takes a little time to get used to its size but once you do driving become fun and confidence inside the cabin feels modern and comfortable.  Touch screen system, sound quality and over all dashboard design makes it feel much better than older off road SUVs. The seats are also comfortable for long drive and the main part is it's decent look.

I already have a petrol varient and my overall experience is very good mileage maintenance cost comfort all are very gud in this segment and option of 4WD give a thrilling experience in off roading sound and speaker qualities are also very good entertainment system screen are working without any lag.

My best decision is to buy this car overall performance is much better previous year i brought this car mileage is also good in city it provide mileage of 10-12 and in highway it goes to 16 - 18 overall mileage is good in desel.  And the performance on mountains is also very good, Power is also.
