May 26, 2011: Finally the wait is over! Ferrari 458 Italia was launched today at a grand event organized at Janpath, New Delhi. Now the speculations regarding this series has finally ended with "Red Car" available at Rs. 2.56 crore (ex-showroom New Delhi). As per official reports, the company is marking presence in India in alliance with Shreyans Group, which is official importer of this series in India. Also, with large number of luxury car manufacturing giants like Rolls Royce, Bentley, Bugatti, Porsche, BMW and Mercedes Benz already gaining market share in counrty, this company in India is expected to receive excellent welcome.

After plenty of anticipation Ferrari has finally unveiled the replacement for its iconic Ferrari 458 Italia – the 488 GTB. The successor swaps the Italia’s 4.5 litre engine for a smaller but punchier 3.9 turbocharged engine. Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo steps down; Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne to be the new boss

Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo stepped down from the Ferrari Formula 1 team and Ferrari car company. Montezemolo issued a statement saying that he will end his 23-year spell at Maranello. He also mentioned that his decision came from the fact of flotation plans of the parent company FCA ( Fiat Chrysler Automobiles ) to the New York Stock Exchange next month. Ferrari to unveil special edition of 458 Italia at Beijing Motor Show

The upcoming Beijing Motor Show will too have its share of a grand revelation with Ferrari 458 Italia’s special edition. This special edition of Ferrari 458 will be limited to 20 units only and is specially created to memorialize the company’s 20th anniversary in China. This special edition is designed with China in mind. The car is exemplified by various Chinese elements including the color. The car is finished in a special and new shade of red known as Marco Polo Red. The color and other apparels of the car are inspired from the Chinese ‘longma’ theme which represents ‘the vigor and spirit of the legendary dragon-horse’.
