Ford will stop the production of locally sold models, i.e., the Figo, Aspire, Freestyle, EcoSport and Endeavour. It will wind down operations at its manufacturing facilities in Sanand and Chennai. Ford will continue offering support to Indian customers by way of service, warranty coverage and aftermarket parts. It will continue to operate and expand in India as a business entity with scaled down production exclusively for export purposes.
