And that is the reason why they have planned out the global unveiling of its much anticipated low-cost car brand Datsun in India, which was phased out back in 1986. Update 11:46 AM: The Datsun unveiling event is about to begin, media has entered the kingdom of dreams' auditorium.
Update 12:05 PM: And the Datsun event begins with a musical theater show by Shiamak Dhavar group, speaking about dreams and dreamers. And we can also see Nissan's big Indian dreams through this fab musical show.

FYI Datsun will be a low cost car barnd, which will look after the needs of new emerging India. Under Datsun, Nissan will develop affordable cars starting from entry level ones to compact SUVs and Uvs. The product which is being unveiled today is K2 (Codename), a product which will be positioned against the likes of Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai’s entry level cars.
On July 1st , Datsun had revealed sketches of its first new genera tion Datsun Car, giving an idea how the car is going to look like. And belives us, it’s better than many available at Sub Rs-3.5 lakh price.
