Maruti Suzuki WagonR Stingray to launch on August 21
Like we reported earlier that Maruti Suzuki India is planning to launch an all-new WagonR Stingray in the Indian car market. Now, it has been confirmed that Maruti WagonR Stingray will be launched on August 21, 2013 in Delhi. The regular slowdown in the market has forced even the country's largest car manufacturer to offer several discounts, and now its time to see a higher and feature rich edition of WagonR.

The WagonR Stingray has already been spotted at some of the company's dealership, and the pictures of the vehicle are roaming on the web. It comes with a more aggressive front fascia, as it gets a slim headlamps, slimmer chrome grille, new bonnet with larger air dam and restyled fog lamp clusters. The hatchback sports a new Grey finished alloy wheels. New slimmer tail-lamps with clear lens fitted to the rear end. Moreover, it gets a rear spoiler, new chrome strip with WagonR Stingray badge to provide more sporty look.
The interiors of the Stingray looks similar to that of the regular WagonR, but it has also received some styling touches, making it better than the existing one. The vehicle now has steering-mounted audio controls, which makes it more functional. Talking about mechanics, the vehicle will be powered by the same 67bhp, 1.0-litre, three cylinder engine, which also does duty in the current WagonR. It is also expected that the Maruti WagonR Stingray will cost around Rs. 40,000-50,000 more than the regular WagonR.
