Ford India announced their August sales report, according to which they have recorded a sales growth of 16 per cent year-over-year to 10,252 overall domestic sales and export units that included the 2,00,000th Figo.The company sold a total 7,840 units in the domestic market in August, recording an increase of 6 per cent year-on-year.
August has been a special one for Ford India, as their popular hatchback, the Figo's 200,000th unit was sold. The Ford Figo is also exported to 35 international markets from India. Expressing the confidence to grow at even better pace in the coming months, Michael Boneham, President & MD- Ford India said that it is wonderful to see consumer sentiment improving at a time when the festive season is near, and the company is all set to meet the rising demand for cars during the period.
Showing the concern towards the high inflation, rising interest rates and petrol price, he further said that the Ford is committed towards its 'One Ford' plan to make fuel-efficient, safe and fun to drive vehicle that consumers need today.
