Audi India to Bring RS6 Avant on June 4th
Following the launch of the gorgeous RS7 Sportback a few days back, Audi India will be bringing the RS6 Avant on June 4th. This power packed estate is bolted to a 4.0 litre TFSI V8 that has the muscle of 560 horses under its hood. The German manufacturer is determined to give India its best and believes that RS6 Avant will make its own calling.

Speaking of this RS6 Avant, at first glance there isn’t much that differentiates it from the rest of the Audis. Till you notice the side profile that exhibit the standard 20-inch wheels, housing the 19-inch perforated and ventilated disc brakes that mean serious business (optional 21-inch wheels and 20-inch carbon ceramic will also be offered). The rear gets a carbon fibre lower diffuser with twin exhaust with one of the best V8 sounds around. Other external characters include a similar design to front DRLs that transforms into indicators and the taillights that are just impossible to ignore.
The engine as quoted earlier, is a 4.0 litre V8 that produces a peak torque of 700Nm enabling Avant to achieve 0-100 kmph in 3.9 seconds. While the top speed is over 300 kmph but could be restricted to 250 kmph for India. Still, it will be pretty fast for a station wagon especially while overtaking and the baritone exhaust note will make sure that the RS6 Avant shoos-off every vehicle that comes before it.
