The Z4's top-of-the-line variant, featuring BMW's new dual-clutch 7-speed automatic gearbox with DCT and a 3L twin-turbo inline-six engine that delivers a stonking 306PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. In cue with Beemer's sporty traditions, the new car also has Dynamic Drive control that let's the user choose between Normal, Sport and Sport + modes. BMW Z4 is a two-seater, two door sports car. The company official said that company has plans to sell 40 to 50 units of this car annually. BMW Z4 was first launched in Europe in December 2008 and it gained much popularity there in a very short span of time because of its advanced features, sporty looks and powerful engine.

As we already discussed earlier that BMW Z4 is powered by the 3.0L, 2979cc engine with 6 - cylinder in-line petrol engine with four valve technology with high precision fuel injection system and with six speed manual transmission gearbox. The engine of BMW Z4 is  3.0L, 2979cc engine with 6-cylinder in-line petrol engine with four valve technology and high precision fuel injection system. This engine comes with both manual transmission gearbox and automatic transmission option and it delivers higher engine performance. Accommodating six cylinders in a row, BMW Z4 sDrive35i provides the perfect combination of weight and power coupled with dynamic balance and sophisticated smoothness. And in the BMW Z4 sDrive35i, High Precision Injection and Twin Turbo help release up to 225 kW (306 hp) on command at 5800 rpm and 400Nm of maximum torque at 1300~5000rpm.

A gear shift indicator which constantly calculates which gear is currently the most economical and accordingly advises the driver when to shift. When calculating, the system takes both the driving situation and engine load into account. For example, if the vehicle is accelerating hard, it will wait until a higher rev count before recommending a gear change. Changing gear at the right moment can considerably reduce fuel consumption - especially in urban driving, but also on long journeys and enhances performance.
