    November 17, 2014: At the 13th Edition of Maruti Suzuki Autocross more than 200 participants took part across various categories at the Buddh International Circuit. Most of the cars blazing on the circuit were were none other than Maruti Swift. Earlier, Maruti,introduced a limited edition of Swift at the ‘Windsong' Music Festival Lonavala, Maharashtra on Nov 14, 2014. The automaker recently launched the facelift version of Swift at Rs 4.42 Lac while the diesel model starts at Rs 5.56 Lac.   • Hyundai Grand i10

    November 29, 2014: Hyundai second-gen i10 (our Grand i10) won the prestigious  2014 Scottish Car of the Year along with Best Small Car in its segment at the annual Scottish Car of the Year Awards. Speaking of the same, Hyundai has sold more than 22,000 units of second-gen i10 since it went on to sale in UK in January, 2014.   • Maruti Celerio

    December 8, 2014: Suzuki has announced the pricing of the UK bound Celerio which will go on sale staring Feb 2015. In UK, the hatch will be available in two variant - SZ3 and SZ4, prices starts at £7,999 (approximately Rs. 7.72 lac) and £8,999 (approximately Rs. 8.69 lac) respectively. As the standard features, the hatch will offer six airbags (Driver, passenger, side and curtain), ESP along with air conditioning, alloy wheels, DAB Radio, CD Tuner, USB and Bluetooth connectivity. The manufacturer will also launch the Celerio Auto Gear Shift (AGS) model in summer which is similar to the Celerio AMT available in India. Suzuki Celerio made its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show while in India, the car was showcased at the Delhi Auto Expo 2014. In order to refresh the Indian model line-up, Maruti Suzuki launched the Limited Edition of Celerio VXi+. The limited edition VXi+ embraces cosmetic upgrades such as central locking with remote, body colored door handles and ORVMs with side blinkers.

    December 8, 2014: Volkswagen India celebrates its 7th anniversary in the country and offers special benefits on the Polo hatch. The new 2014 Polo facelift attracts cash benefits upto Rs. 18,000 and EMI on the hatch starts from Rs 8,888 per month. Earlier in November, Volkswagen India has started exporting the 1.6-liter Polo Highline petrol to the North American country - Mexico. Polo joins its twin sibling Vento which was exported there since last year.     December 17, 2014: Hyundai Motors is now planning to introduce its popular hatch i10 for the taxi market in Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata.     May 6, 2014 : Honda has recalled 15,623 units of non-ABS variants of Brio that were manufactured from February 28, 2013 to January 16, 2014. The motive behind this recall is to examine and correct the faulty proportioning valve which is responsible for distributing pressure to the wheels. Customers can get their Brio checked for free by enrolling their 17-character alpha-numeric Vehicle Identification Numbers (VIN) on the company's website. Also, the customers will be contacted individually. The faulty parts, if found will then be replaced at the Honda dealerships for free of cost across the country.

    May 8, 2013: BMW India that started the local production of Mini Countryman in India at its plant near Chennai, has now launched the diesel version of the car called the Countryman D. The company has rolled out two diesel versions- the Countryman and Countryman high, priced at Rs. 25.60 lakh and Rs. 28.9 lakh respectively (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Countryman Diesel becomes the first Mini model to have a diesel engine. The car will be brought in India via CKD and then assembled locally. The local assembly of the car has helped BMW to price the vehicle quite competitive.
