My dream car
The all-new Jaguar F-Type is the successor to the legendary E-Type sports car. It isnt for the practical, and it certainly isnt for those who want to show off that theyve got the best in the world that is only in terms of performance and handling. But when it comes to looks, it is one of the most exquisite design from Tata owned luxury brand.

The nomenclature is no accident the D-Type and especially the E-Type were benchmarks in every sense of the word, from pricing to performance, when they were launched. Although the F-Type will not match the current day performance convertibles, it has the looks that will make you go weak in the knees.

We get two variants of the F-Type one with a V6 and one with a V8; both are supercharged petrol units powering the rear-wheels via eight-speed dual-clutch quickshift transmission. The 3000cc V6 produces 375bhp and 460Nm that propels the car to 100kph in just under 5 seconds, while the beefier 5000c V8 churns out 488bhp and 625Nm that help reach the same mark in 4.3 seconds.

The Jaguar F-Type is benchmarked against the Porsche 911 and the smaller version is priced marginally below the 911 Carrera Cabriolet; the V8 S on the other hand competes with the Carrera S Cabriolet.
