The Japanese automaker may instead, opt for a petrol-hybrid that would find more acceptance.

The car will be launched first in Europe where Turkey will be the production hub.

Toyota has come up with a facelifted version of the Corolla. The new version is likely to impress consumers with its sharper looks.
