Porsche Cayman GT4 is one of the variants in this acclaimed model. The exterior and interior of the vehicle exude a persona of elegance and beauty, giving occupants a premium treatment to go with the drive. The visual area of the machine has been lavished with plush themes, along with elements of sportiness. The stylish rims, the slender body lines and the opulent colour formats together impart a spectacular appearance for the vehicle. Meanwhile, the interiors have been done up with rich upholstery and a variety of other fine inlays. Comfort is promoted with an advanced musical system that has AUX-In connectivity and a multi speaker arrangement. Coming to a more raw facet, the car is equipped with a 6 cylinder engine that carries it to a top speed of 295kmph. Furthermore, the vehicle can race from stall to 100kmph in just 4.4 seconds, a truly formidable achievement among models of this class. Beside just speed and performance, the engine can deliver strong fuel benefits with a class leading mileage of 9.7kmpl.


Like all models of this company, the car has a greatly sculptured sporty persona. A low and slender build helps to gain momentum when driving, while at the same time, maintaining downforce and traction. The streamlined profile promotes the right airflow at high speeds. The front portion is rendered with more style owing to the round headlamps and the wide air intakes at the bottom. The smooth curvatures around the bonnet add vigour to the design. The titanium coloured metal grille adds to the energetic image of the front. By the side, the stylish wheel arches and the 20 inch platinum coloured alloy wheels impart a more sporty character. There are side air vents present behind the doors along with GT4 logo is embossed by the sideblades. Mounted at the rear is a spoiler with an integral separation edge. The black rear apron comes with two centrally positioned tailpipes.


The cabin gives an exalting air with an engrossing design theme along with a host of comfort and utility elements to further support passenger experience. The seats are ergonomically designed, enabling a convenient ride for the occupants throughout. Fine leather upholstery dresses the seats, with the centres lined in Alctantara. The headrests are embroidered with the GT4 logo for a more distinguished touch to the place. There is an electrical adjustment facility for back rest, seat height and the fore/aft position as well. The front panel is lavishly set up, with the dashboard, the instrument cluster and the surround areas reflecting a sophisticated aura altogether. Highlights of metal and other expensive materials are also present about the space, imbuing the place with a more enriched feel.

Engine and Performance:

Armed within the vehicle is a 3.8-litre flat six aluminium engine. Placed in the mid-engine configuration, it is incorporated of 6 cylinders, and displaces 3800cc. The train delivers a power output of 385bhp, together with a torque of 420Nm at 4750rpm to 6000rpm. The company has equipped the plant with a water cooling mechanism that comes along with a thermal management facility for the engine and gearbox. VarioCam Plus camshaft controls and valve lift adjustment also improve the overall functioning of the engine. An integrated dry sump lubrication promotes efficient fuel delivery. The engine is mechanically coupled with a 6 speed dual mass manual gearbox that comes with a self adjusting clutch facility.

Braking and Handling:

A GT4 lightweight spring strut axle is present at the front, along with an anti roll bar for additional stability. For the rear axle, there is a reinforced lightweight spring strut axle that also comes with an anti roll bar. Cross drilled and internally vented discs have been rigged onto the wheels, allowing a firm hold when braking. In addition to this, the vehicle is programmed with a Porsche Active Suspension Management system that comes along with an adjustable damper system. The electro-mechanical power steering system further hones the handling and control of the vehicle. Also promoting control is a Porsche Torque Vectoring system.

Comfort Features:

The vehicle offers a range of utility based features that bring convenience for the occupants. There are storage areas, vanity mirrors, sun visors, and a variety of other aids for the passengers. In addition to this, there is a CDR audio system that comes along with a 7 inch colour touchscreen for the best passenger luxury. It features a CD, an FM twin tuner, 30 memory presets, a dynamic autostore and speed sensitive volume control. For a quality audio experience, it comes with four loudspeakers and an integrated amplifier. An Aux interface allows occupants to connect their own devices with the system for added utility.

Safety Features:

The 6 piston monobloc fixed calipers ensure that the vehicle is rooted in control and stability when driving. In addition to this, the vehicle boasts a range of techno programs that enhance handling quality. Firstly, there is an anti lock braking system that helps to prevent skidding.
