    Hyundai i 10 a complete Hatchback
I purchased i 10 Magna model in 2010 and switched over to i10 from Tata Indica Petrol, which I used for almost 3 years. I drove i10 for almost 7.5 years before I went for S cross. Since, I was switching over to i10 from Indica, by all means this car gave me a great experience compared to Indica. Pros : Almost Nil break down maintenance, apart from regular routine services at regular intervals. The average costing was reasonably low between 2.5 k to 3 k. Engine remained intact ( I run for 1.5 Lac KM) and absolutely there was no issue. Though compact, offered good leg space. Smooth driving in the city roads and traffic. Excellent Pick up. Seats were quite comfortable though it is not a luxury car. Battery I replaced only twice in 7.5 years. Cons : A.C. had a problems for 3 to 4 times and at once I had to replace complete AC due to compressor failure after 7 years. Headlights were not powerful enough for Highway driving. Wipers did not have intermittent mode of operation, hence caused scratches to glass. Suspension quality was poor. Conclusion : Overall, a complete Hatchback car, very low maintenance, good milage, all the basic features one needs like A.C., heater, power steering, all four power windows and central locking system at affordable price and I would say, i10 model was a good car, which is now replaced with grand i 10 with much features.

    Better built and reliable car
Hyundai i10 is proved to be very reliable car during my 6 years of ownership. For me this is top most priority and I dont like to get stranded on a road or leaving my car in workshop for days. No mechanical failures or even unnecessary part changes. All these days I did regular servicing only. I think Hyundai is close to reliability levels of Toyota, Honda and Maruti Suzuki. The second thing I would like to appreciate about this car is the build quality. The car is better built and there are no rattles squeaks so far. Also the materials used in interiors are good as new. I dont feel this car interior outdated when compared to many latest cars. Earlier Hyundai cars mileage were not good but this new kappa2 engine is better and close to Maruti Suzukis fuel efficiency. I get around 11 KMPL in Bangalore traffic and 17 on highways. (mine is automatic). Even though this car looks small, it offers decent space inside. Probably due to tall-boy design. I never felt this is small car and this is coming from me who used Honda Accord in US previously. The only negatives I feel about this car is ride quality and service cost. Ride quality is very average. Also Hyundai service cost has become too much now a days. They are charging around 5K for regular service/oil change as prescribed in manual.

    Best City Driving Car
What to say and where to start. i10 is my first car, on which I have started learning driving in 2014. Best thing about the car is its Steering module. It is effortless and easy to drive even in heavy traffic or on highways. Due to its compact design and light steering it is very easy to drive in narrowest city roads and park any where. Next best thing about this car is its pickup on city roads. As it is powered with 1.2L Kappa petrol engine, driving on crowded city roads or near traffic signals would be lot easier. As the engine churns sufficient torq to pull. Even is the case on highways. We can easily touch 120 Kmph without much noise in the engine nor vibration. But ideal speed to experience a smooth drive would be 100 kmph. Coming to the comfort, as it is a hatch back it four people can travel comfortably. Five people would be difficult to travel long distances in this vehicle. Front seats are ok, but if provided with head rest it would have been a good option. Cushioning in the rear seat is just average. While travelling long distances on this would cause some discomfort. On the whole cushioning at the could have been a bit better. Coming to leg room as it is hatch model, we couldn't as for more. But if a couple of cms were added to the rear leg room it would have been lot better. As when the front seats are moved back ward, person with average height of 5'8" will also have slight discomfort. Coming to cons about this car are: Breaking. At higher speeds breaking seems to be slippery. So we need to be a bit more cautious while driving at higher speeds(greater than 100). For city driving it is ok, but breaking should have been improved a lot when driving at higher speeds. Next worst thing is the service. All the hyundai service centres are worst. They just wash our car and give us the bill. Spares are too expensive compared to other brands. Even if they are expensive, if the spares are of good quality and we can afford. Bu they are not worth that much price. If pricing is high they need to maintain some quality in their products too. Apart from the above 2 things breaking and service everything seems ok till date. Note: I am not an expert rider nor reviewer. These are only my views based on my driving experience.

    Small but Packs A Punch
A little city car that has got plenty to live up to. Sharp looks and a sweet but old 1.1-litre engine is still the drivetrain in this car. It's all about quality here - the overriding impression you get from the i10 is one of refinement. This is a city car with a big car feel wind noise is well-suppressed, the engine note is muted and there's minimal tyre roar. It's so good that you wouldn't think twice about doing a long motorway journey in it. The build quality is superb, and the clean layout and modern look is a world beater, it's where the Hyundai really impresses one & all. It's also a practical car. Longer and wider than the last one, it's no surprise that the internal volume is impressive. The boot space is a decent size and four adults will easily manage long journeys in it. Just make sure they are not too, um, big-boned, otherwise the lack of torque and the long fifth gear will make any uphill sections hard work. The Hyundai i10 mileage is around 14 to 16 kmpl & after sales service should not be an issue with Hyundai having the 2nd best coverage in the country. Verdict: If you are on the lookout for a small car, that is trendy, fits a family of four, is zippy at the same time offer the comfort and luxury of a car that is one segment above, This is It...

Very good and managable family car
I own a hyundai i10 2010 model. Its been more than 6 years i am using this car, and till date other than regular servicing, I have spent only 20,000 on servicing (becuase of one minor acccident, which damaged ac condensor and radiators). The good thing with this car: Beautiful look, Nice interiors, Smooth gear shift, Decent mileage, No maintenance The reason for recommending this car is that it is very good for beginners, drive in city, small road trip and medium budget. I shall be happy to replace this car with another hyundai make car, may be Hyundai I10 grand or i20. Only recommended advice is to keep using this car and carry out regular servicing. The drive control is awesome, as i have tried other cars also like swift, dezire, ford fiesta but found this more comfortable.
