The Chevrolet Captiva is a very fuel efficient and powerful car. The car has both the options available in the market: Automatic and Manual Transmission Gearbox. The Captiva comes with only three models: Chevrolet LT, Chevrolet Captiva LTZ & Chevrolet Captiva Xtreme . Out of these models, only Chevrolet Captiva LTZ comes with 5 Speed Automatic Transmission Gearbox. The vehicle is packed with Variable geometry turbo Common Rail Direct Injection (VCDi) diesel engine with 4 modern cylinders and SOHC configuration for better performance. The engine gives an output of 148bhp at 4000 rpm and a Maximum torque of 320Nm at 2000 rpm. The car endowed with Automatic gearbox is low in performance with respect to mileage, power and acceleration. Chevrolet Captiva has a premium SUV look with 2.0L diesel engine that is packed with 7J X 17 inch alloy wheel and 6.5 J X 16 steel spare wheel to give the car more robust, aggressive and sporty look.
